About the Flora

The Flora of the Clarendon Parish Region is a collaborative effort to provide an account of the vascular plants of Clarendon Parish and adjacent areas. Jamaica has over 3,600 species of native or naturalized vascular plants. About 1/3 of the flora is endemic, including many species occurring in Clarendon Parish.
